Firm Description
Winterbauer & Diamond, P.L.L.C. is a premier Pacific Northwest employment and labor law firm dedicated to providing the highest quality litigation and counseling services on the full range of international, federal, state and local labor, employment, immigration, business tort and civil rights law issues. Our mission is to provide employers the best of both worlds-the sophistication and expertise typically associated with a larger firm, together with the personal service, efficiency and cost savings a smaller firm can offer. Our representation is decisive, practical and responsive.
We represent all types of employers-large and small, public and private, for profit and not-for-profit. Our clients range from Fortune 500 corporations to regional companies to local proprietorships, and encompass all sectors of the economy, including communications, advertising, health care, retail, manufacturing, high technology, transportation, air freight, insurance, real estate, hospitality, public utilities and public housing.
We pride ourselves on being both counselors and litigators. We believe each role complements and enhances the other. As counselors, we offer advice and guidance that have been battle-tested through litigation. We spend considerable time and energy educating clients to avoid mistakes that lead to lawsuits. We provide on-site training, issue periodic informational mailings, publish two newsletters-the "Employment Law Bulletin" and the "Labor Law Bulletin"-and stay in close contact with our clients to identify and resolve issues before they become lawsuits. As litigators, we fight for our clients while remaining mindful of their broader business concerns. Our lawyers are exceptional litigators with substantial experience successfully representing clients in state and federal court and before regulatory agencies. We have a particularly impressive record of dismissing cases on summary judgment. We also have significant experience with arbitration, mediation and other forms of alternative dispute resolution.
